I think social media made it harder for people to be emotionally honest.

Because now everything becomes content.
People joke about being mentally exhausted.
People turn loneliness into memes.
People hide real feelings behind “relatable” posts.
And after a while, nobody knows when someone is actually struggling anymore.
That’s the scary part.
You can cry for help online in the form of humor… and everybody just reacts with laughing emojis because they think you’re kidding.
I genuinely think a lot of people are suffering silently while appearing completely normal online.
What the author wants right now
I just want to vent
Best replies here sound like: “That makes sense.” “That sounds exhausting.” “I can see why this hit hard.”
