Honestly, constantly consuming fear-based news will mentally drain anyone after a point. It’s important to stay informed, but not so informed that your nervous system never gets a chance to feel safe again. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is put the phone down for a while, reconnect with real life around you, and remind yourself that doom-scrolling is not the same as preparing for the future.
