I made money in crypto once… and now I can’t stop chasing that feeling

I got into crypto during the hype phase. At first, I didn’t even understand much. I was just following trends, Twitter threads, and random Telegram groups. Then one trade changed everything. I turned a small amount into something way bigger in a few days. That feeling… I can’t even explain it. It felt like I finally figured something out. Like I had an edge. After that, I started taking it more seriously. Or at least, I thought I was. The problem is, I’ve been chasing that same high ever since. Some trades work, most don’t. But even when I lose, I keep thinking the next one will be “that trade” again. Now it’s affecting how I think daily. I check charts constantly. Even when I’m not trading, my mind is still there. I’ve started taking bigger risks than I should, just to feel that same rush again. And I know this isn’t healthy. It doesn’t even feel like investing anymore. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop. The weird part is, from the outside, it probably looks like I’m just “interested in crypto.” But inside, it’s more like I can’t switch it off. Has anyone else gone through this phase? How do you step back without feeling like you’re missing out on something big?
